Meals on Wheels – Seva Drive
Seva Drive · June 2025 · Sri Sathya Sai Sudha Mandir

As part of our sacred commitment to Seva, the Meals on Wheels initiative once again touched hearts and filled stomachs across Chatsworth and Bangladesh. Grounded in Swami’s divine message of “Help Ever, Hurt Never”, this service drive brought together collective love and action to deliver warm meals and even warmer smiles to those in need.

Soup & Bread: Simple Nourishment, Profound Care

A large pot of comforting vegetable soup was prepared at the ashram. To accompany the soup, 60 loaves of bread were ordered, pre-cut into quarters and individually wrapped by a team of dedicated Sevadals, ensuring hygiene and care in every portion.

Biryani, Dhal & Beverages

Alongside the soup, a delicious batch of biryani and dhal was lovingly prepared — a hearty, nutritious meal aimed to comfort the soul. For beverages, two urns of coffee and one urn of tea were readied to offer a warm drink to every individual served.

Seva in Action: Delivery with Dignity

All food and drinks were carefully packed and loaded onto a Seva truck. Volunteers then drove through various areas in Chatsworth and Bangladesh, seeking out families and individuals who needed it most. The distribution took place during the evening, ensuring a hot dinner reached those without one.

With Gratitude & Grace

This initiative would not have been possible without the loving hands and hearts of our Sevadals. Whether they stirred pots, wrapped loaves, carried crates, or shared a word of comfort — each played a role in transforming Swami’s message into meaningful action.

May we continue to walk this divine path of service with humility, joy, and unity.
